Housing &
Historic Preservation WHNO is committed to the cause of historic preservation of our built environment as well as documenting the rich heritage of our neighborhood. To do so, the committee is currently working on two major projects. The first are a series of housing guidelines designed to act as a guide for homeowners in remodeling of existing homes and also in building new structures. The guidelines provide an indepth outline of how to maximize the historic potential of a building project that lies within the WHNO boundaries. The second is a survey of potential sections of the neighborhood that could be established as historic districts. |
